We purchased this item for another seller, so we are just commenting on the collar and NOT the seller.

We were initially pleased with this collar. It worked on our large dog very effectively. However, after only 1 1/2 months, the antenna broke because the material it is made with is so thin. I rigged up a makeshift antenna though, and we continued to use it. Within 2 weeks of doing that, after changing the collar batteries, the unit (collar and remote) would not communicate with each other, rendering it useless. We had changed the batteries before, so we knew the correct procedure to follow. After communicating with our seller, it was determined that the unit has just failed. I would spend more of your hard-earned money to get a quality unit…this one is too cheaply made. I don’t enjoy wasting nearly $40……

This item is not worth the money. There’s not anything else one can say about it.

I chose this collar because my dog is deaf and the vibrate offers the option to train the dog to come to me even though she can’t hear me. This dog is a “Blue Heeler” also called “Australian Cattle Dog”, was stubborn and just tried to do what ever she pleased knocking things off tables by jumping on them and throwing everything off intentionally. She even killed on of our birds. That’s when I decided to get the collar. She is 8 months old. I use the settings at 35 if she has few distractions and have had to put it as high as 60 in public to keep her off children. Within one week I now have a dog that walks right next to me. She no longer jumps in my face and scratches me. The biting has come to a complete stop. Our house is now peaceful and people ask me if I am a professional dog trainer. She is much calmer and a real member of the family now. The secret is to use the collar as directed. Do NOT abuse it. I recommend only calm natured people use this collar.

The guy was nice and he had a great idea for a product at a good price, but it would randomly shock my dog. I called and asked for a refund and he was very nice and refunded the money in full.

It worked fine the first day. The light stays on so, the battery runs out fast on the collar. It never really got my dog attention. Like I said it’s okay for the cost.
