On Sunday December 20th I ordered a Andis AGC Super 2-speed Animal Clipper so my pups are all groomed for Santa On Tuesday Dec 22nd, I had my shipment all the way from Arizona to Washington State. I chose standard shipping. My local post office can’t deliver across town that fast. Not only did I get a awesome price on a excellent product I had it in my hands in 2 business days. I will not ever have reservations to do business with http://www.Dog-Care-Supplies-Online.com. Thank you for a great experience
I had good results from this clipper for my two Scottish terriers. It does not come with attachments so I had to buy the parts separately. The attachment it comes standard with, cuts way too short! Drawbacks are that is is heavy and the blade gets very hot, very quickly. Pros are that it provides a nice clean cut and does not get bogged down in thick hair!
Well we ordered these shavers for my persian cat.. We figured just 3 shaves with these and the shavers would pay for themselves for what the groomer charges us. I have tried all the cheaper brand models and needless to say, NONE of them would get through my cats hair.. Unfortunatly, we waited too long to get our kitty shaved and he was one huge mat of hair underneith. But i have to say, when we got these shaver’s, they worked like nothing else we have ever tried. They cut right through the mats! On the downside, they do get a little hot, but in all fairness, it took like an hour to get the cat shaved because of his poor condition. Definatly spend the extra on the cooling spray,..it really helped. This product was very easy to take the blades off and clean as well..Very happy with our purchase and now that our cat is mat free, to shave him even once a month with these clippers will be a breeze!! Oh.. the only thing that had me frustrated was shipping time.. It took amazon 2 weeks to just ship these!! It was rediculous..But they were $60.00 cheaper on amazon than at petsmart, so I guess they were worth the wait.. Hope this helps!
Does a great job on my shi tzu. I need better trimming skils but the trimmer is great.
I’ve had Andis Ultra Edge clippers for several years and have never liked them. Yes, they are comfortable to use, and fairly lightweight, but they do get really hot, really fast.
My main complaint with these clippers is the fact that the switch on them is a slider, and rarely engages the “high” speed – which is what I need the most. Because the switch is so unreliable, when I can get it to engage “high”, I keep it there and unplug the clippers when I’m finished instead of sliding the switch into the “off” position. I should have returned these clippers as soon as I noticed the problem but never got around to it.
Would I buy the Andis brand again? Not me, never again; I’m going back to Oster. Now that I need a new blade, I’m going to take that money and invest it in a new Oster PowerMax clipper instead.
