Carlson extra tall walk thru gate with pet door allows smaller pets to pass while containing larger ones. The all steel construction is chew proof and great for pets. This gate is 41-inches tall and great for larger breeds. The extra tall comes complete with a six-inche extension and extends from 29 to 40-inches.

    WE WERE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO KEEP THE DOG OUT OF OUR DAUGHTER’S ROOM. WE SAW THIS ITEM AND READ REVIEWS. IT WORKS GREAT AND MEETS OUR NEEDS. I WOULD AGREE WITH

    OTHERS THAT YOU REALLY SHOULD USE THE INCLUDED MOUNTING CUPS RATHER THAN RELYING ON

    THE PRESSURE MOUNT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

    I would advise against this gate. I have a Maltese dog and she is able to squeeze right thru the slats so I don’t know how it can keep out cats. It is also very flimsy and the paint job wasn’t very good. I have will have to have my husband do some welding on it and add some bars or something. I should have just returned it and got my money back which is still what I might do. It is just taking up space in the garage now. Very unsatisfied customer!!!!

    The gate was bought to keep my puppy from falling down the basement stairs. It appears to do this, but I have not obtain my puppy yet.

    Happy overall with the extra tall pet gate. The quality could have been slightly better but not bad for the price. Bought it to keep my cocker spaniel out of the utility room away from the cat’s food. Unfortunately he was able to walk right through the cat door with relative ease! Had to modify it by keeping the cat door closed and removing one bar from the cat door. This allowed the cats to squeeze through, but keep my chow hound out. Once I made the modifications, it has solved my problems and I am happy.

    We use this gate to keep our dog contained in the kitchen for short periods and it has worked out very well. It’s easy to put up and take down, and that gate portion can be operated with one hand. We don’t use the small door, as part of the reason for the gate is to keep the dog separate from the cat. This product has worked very well for this purpose.
