I thought I was ordering BODY clippers for my pet. The title of this product should be ” FACIAL PET HAIR CLIPPERS ” This is a small pocket sized device….battery operated……total junk. Not powerfull enough, just a waste of money IMO.

This is the nicest little clipper I’ve used. It is perfect for little Poodle’s face and feet.

I first purchased this tiny clipper from PetCo in 2004. It still works great! However, in the way of the world , whatever it is, it will finally break. Whenever that is, you can never locate the product you loved. Gone……so, I decided to purchase a “back up” unit for that unknown date. PetCo no longer sells it, so I bought a competing brand, gave it a test run, and it’s a dud. No comparison. Delighted to find it with Amazon, I ordered it right away, and in a flash it was here. It does exactly what it says it will. It fits right into your hand, has no cord, makes minimal noise, and cuts the fur on the face around the eyes, nose, and lips of the pet. I trim the excess fur under the bottom of her paw pads. It does not frighten the dog or my husband (see later). You cannot fully clip a dog or do thick chunks at a time, thus I would wonder, if your pet has thick, coarse hair, that might stop the trimming action. Might not, I just don’t know. But I have gone on to find other uses. I cut my husband’s hair, or what’s left of it. I start with my Oster A-5 clippers around his head. As his pate is nearly bald, with only a few straggly looking hairs, it looks silly. The little trimmers whisk those away, and more closely than the larger clippers. I can trim neatly over his ears, and with a comb through his eyebrows, I can take the unruly uni-brow, and give him short, way less scary looking eyebrows. Encouraged by that success, I have gone on to discover a secret. I can now get rid of those long old lady-like chin hairs! I think it should be marketed under “personal grooming for people” as well as pets. It’s truly a family use article which I recommend heartily. Remember, they are trimmers, and they can give you a vicious nip…..as in blood. These are not a toy.
