The top of the bed is a soft faux sheepskin and the base is a durable poly/cotton blend. To keep it clean, unzip the cover and throw it in the wash. Also available in Large as well as a variety of colors to complement your dog and decor : Black, Blue, Burgundy, Green, Khaki, and Red. (Extra Large recommended for dogs from 70lbs and up)

I really like this dog bed. It is firm but allows the body to sink in a little but evenly, not like other mattresses where they sink in unevenly and lumpy. It has great support for the body, so prevents aching, pain, and allows a deep sleep throughout the night. Its like a posturepedic bed. My old dog who has arthritis loves it and sleeps well on it. I used to worry about him on his old bed which was lumpy and had no support (a regular dog bed from the store) and his legs became very stiff and painful, and after sleeping in the new bed his legs have become much better. I recommend this to any dog.
This is a good bed for my aging German Shepherd, and it’s washable.
