The Flexi principle..

Is it possible to walk a dog on a leash and give the dog freedom to roam at the same time? Flexi leashes resolve this apparent contradiction in an easy way. Flexi leads do not trail as they are permanently under slight tension. By means of the brake system you can restrain your dog.

By pressing the brake button with your thumb and a short pull on the lead, you can give short commands to your dog or bring it closer to you. The additional brake lock function allows to permanently fix the leash at the length you require.

A good braking system must be simple and reliable. And the Flexi system, which is harmoniously combined with the overall function of the leash, is precisely that. The brake button and brake lock are ergonomically designed allowing a dog freedom to walk and run while on a leash.

Flexi’s dual braking system has been developed over decades to reach its present-day level of perfection

Flexi retractable leashes are recommended by animal breeders and veterinarians.

This leash is the best way to walk your dog. He’s a year old, still full of the dickens, but there is no problem with walking him on this. I have put him on other leashes that he struggles against. There is no way he can chewup this leash. For Zigi and me this, it appears I’ve solved any pulling issues. He got used to it and we both feel free. It’s been dropped on cement accidently with no damage to the product. I’m not recommending dropping or letting go of this leash.

I love this kind of retractable leash because it is so much easier to walk my dog. It works great for her because she is pretty trustworthy but at times needs a reminder to stay close. This allows her to be on a leash but have a little freedome. The comfort handle on this style makes it a little nicer than the traditional flexi leashes. I would recommend it to anyone who has a small-medium dog.
