It is less smelly and less itchy than Advantage so the cats object less. It is the about same price as 4 vials of advantage for dogs and they both last the same 1 vial/month, therefore advantage is more economical. The first vial of treatment may not last as long as subsequent treatments—something the last reviewer may not know. I find that both products often last 5 weeks, but I try to give it every 30 days ….I don’t want problems.
I use this product on my 15 cats. One vial treats several cats. I have a syringe and apply 0.1ml/kg (2.2 lbs) of cat weight. (The same dose is appropriate on Advantage flea treatment.)
This product only stayed and worked on my dog for 2 weeks. After that she was scratching and I was pulling fleas off of her. Very disappointed, I will have to go back to Advantix.
