I found it especially helpful with our wirey jack russell terrier as his coarse hair is difficult to get off with regular combs. I also priced this product at Petsmart, which sells for around $53 dollars, so this was a steal on here. I only had it for a couple of weeks but it seems like it is a very sturdy tool! If you have a dog that sheds constantly as does my dog, I would sincerely recommend that you purchase this product!
