Bought the book for advice on how to housetrain my puppy. After skimming through it, many of the advice/suggestions are information that I already knew from researching on the internet. The book did not offer any special or more insightful knowledge/techniques. The book has too much fluff, everything can be probably summed up in less than 10 pages. The topic is really not that complicated enough to fill that many pages. If it is available at your local library, I recommend skimming through it but it is really not necessary for purchase.
When we got our beagle, we found ourselves in new territory and needed to learn a lot of tricks fast!
This book helped us to learn about every aspect of housetraining. We learned that it is a very important part of getting along with the dog on a daily basis. Especially happy was I to discover extra information on subjects not expected to be covered in this book, like cooking for your dog.
Whether you are in need of information about this subject or are already living with a dog who has potty problems, this book will help you with your task.

The Housetraining for Dummies Book was really a big help to me in housetraining my Yorkie Rylee. They say Yorkies are the most difficult to train but with my patience and the guidance in the book, I think we are almost there!
Book arrived as described. It was in excellent condition and arrived in a timely manner. I don’t have my dog housetrained entirely but he enjoyed chewing on the book!
