My 11 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix destroyed this ball in less than 30 minutes. It was one of the worst Kong toys we’ve ever tried, would NOT recommend if you have a destructive chewer.
This ball was completely defurred and torn in half, squeeker removed in less than 1 hour by 2 pit bulls playing
The ball arrived quickly, I believe even before it was supposed to have came. We have a Jack Russell who loves toys that squeak, but normally breaks them within 5 minutes. The ball is still intact, however he has broken the squeaky part and ripped off all the felt within a day. He still plays with it, but there’s no squeak. It would be a good ball for a dog who tends to not be destructive like ours. He did have fun playing with it though. Not sure if any squeaky toy can last for our dog, that’s why I gave this a 4 even though he broke it.
My shepherd catahoula mix is tough on toys and tennis balls. He can tear a regular tennis ball in seconds if he wants. This toy was neat, really big and fun for him to chase around. Somehow he punctured a small hole in it, so it no longer squeaks but it is still intact. I will definitely buy more for him. These Kong air squeakers are just more fun to play with than regular tennis balls.
My dog popped the ball and therefore broke the squeeker in it in under 30 seconds. How disappointing…
If you have a very large and strong dog like me, don’t waste your money.
