My dog eats all other toys that I’ve given him, including the regular Kong. This one, he chews and chews on, but can’t ever seem to destroy. We also use it for tug-of-war and fetch. It keeps us all happy!

Our 80-pound lab/retriever mix is a powerful chewer, but this holds up well. I’m ordering a replacement for the last one after 15 months. This is her favorite toy, and she gives it a good workout every day. The ends are perfect for small treats

Kong extreme good sturdy bone. However, the hole for inserting treats, see protruding star like ends on picture, allows for dogs to pick at and get a chunk of plastic out of pretty easy. If the protruding pieces had been turned inwards my Pip probably would not chewed through this as quick.

I was hoping to find an Extreme Kong toy for my dog in a medium size, but apparently they don’t come in medium. Because my 3 year old miniature poodle loves to chew and chews the red Kong toys to pieces I decided to order the large size anyway. The description said it was 7 inches long and I knew that was a bit long for him, but the description did not say it was really wide as well. When I received it in the mail I thought it was way too large for him and he most likely would not play with it at all. I was pleasantly surprised when he picked it up in his mouth and began to run with it. He likes me to play tug of war with him using this large bone and he can run just fine with it in his mouth. He doesn’t chew on it like I had originally thought he would. I would recommend it for the larger dog as the description says.

These toys have a very strong smell of rubber, my dog won’t have a thing to do with them. I’m going to try and send them back. Very disappointed!
