    It’s my dog’s little nest of love. After she chews her marrow bone she immediately runs to it and smears her body, wiggling and thrashing into her bagel bed to get her bone scent all over it. I was worried that she wouldn’t, my dutch shepherd, have enough room to stretch out in it, as she loves to do on her old bed,( and I mean completely stretched out). But it turns out that those remarkably resilient bumpers aren’t too stuffed, the way they appear on the photos. When she wants to stretch out, she just stretches right over the ends of it like I would on a tiny twin sized mattress. The large doesn’t seem that large but it works amazingly. The only “hmmm” time I’ve had with it is when she sheds for the new season. Hair gets trapped down in that crevice where the walls meet the cushion like you wouldn’t believe. Even the vacuum grumbles a bit trying to get it all cleaned out. Oh and p.s. You be glad when you walk back into the pet store for dog food and find a comparable likeness for 80 dollars more. You’ll pat yourself on the back all the way home.

    Nice bed, fast delivery only regret is that I didn’t get the XL for our 55 lb Golden.

    She fits fine curled up but it’s too small when she is stretched out.

    I purchased this bed for our 65 pound Golden Retreiver and she loves it. I thought the x-large would be the right fit, but the large is perfect. It is big enough for her to move around in. She hangs her head over the edge, or on the edge, or huddles into a ball inside. I have not washed this yet, so I can’t comment on that, but she loves it and it was a good value. I might buy another for the bedroom.

    I bought this for my sister’s dog who loves to sleep almost under the couch. She can put her nose in the side of this bed when she sleeps and looks very comfortable. Best part is that you can wash it in the washing machine- a good bed for an old dog that has “accidents.” Also a good thing for a dog that loves your bed, but you don’t love that your dog loves your bed. Hopefully this bed will last a long time!
