    My dog isn’t crazy about this bed. He’ll sleep in it about as often as on the floor, on our bed, on the couch, or on our meditation cushion. He’s only about 35-40 pounds and takes up the entire thing even when he isn’t all stretched out, so I wouldn’t recommend the bed for a dog any larger than he is. The color does not at all resemble the “khaki” shade pictured. It’s more of a light brown or tan color.

    I searched all over the web, trying to find the perfect dog bed for our Brownie. I wanted something with a lot of cushion and support for her. This pet bed is great!! The bottom is very supportive. The sides are perfect for Brownie to rest her head on and give her something to lean back against. Brownie is a 60 pound Chocolate Lab, and the 40″ bagel donut bed is the perfect size for her. She has plenty of room to stretch out, but she really loves to curl up in this bed. I have not tried to wash the bed, so I can’t speak about that. But the bed is holding up great so far (we’ve had it almost three months).

    My opinion does not matter as much as my dog’s opinion. You should see her do a flying leap into the donut! The bed is high quality and obviously very comfortable for our puppy. She can bury herself in it or use the edge as a pillow. We bought an extra one for another floor in our home. One last thing, bigger is better. If you are choosing between two sizes, go bigger because your dog will want to use it as a toy chest.

    I looked all over for the perfect dog bed for weeks, & finally settled on the donut/bagel (large) because Marley sometimes likes to curl up, and other times likes to sprawl. This bed is the perfect combo. Fluffy & plush with no lumps or bumps. He can snuggle in by the tall sides, or lay on his side with his head & feet resting on the sides like armrests. He wants nothing more than to hang out in his bed, even carries his toys to it & dumps them in the crevice between the base & the sides. It is so soft & snuggly I am tempted to get in myself for a little nap!!

    I made the right choice & am buying two more for other rooms (especially because I can’t beat the quality or the price). The fur comes up easily & the cover is durable but soft to the touch.

    Two pieces of advice: When you first get the bed, fluff it by shaking, then put it on the ground & get in it to settle the bottom. Marley looked like he was in a boat @ first, it kept rolling side to side & he was flopping around like a fish, much to our entertainment. This will settle with a few hours of use. Also, the khaki color is a darker khaki with a hint of sage, not quite as light as the pictures show, but very neutral & easy on the eyes.
