I have own the extra large one for 3 years now. I just bought a new flap for it. But I did have a 140lb dog going through it daily. I like the dual flaps and the magnets. Easy to install. I LOVE THE STOPPER THING!!! VERY STURDY!!! SHE REALLY TRYS GETTING OUT BUT CAN’T!!
Overall it is a nice dog door.. I haven’t owned any other so can’t compare it. The replacement flap cost me $50.00.
Glad we purchased this door, as it’s saved us hours of jumping up and down to let the dog out. Good insulation and functionality for our Golden Chow, who is about 35 pounds.
well, own this door, and please don’t buy it. many dogs are scared of the mechanism, and the complexity and problems still do not achieve the advertised weatherproofing.
