I this product is a little small and comes out of the tug-a-jug too easily. They also make my dog’s stools very soft. My dog loves them though, so we give them to her in moderation.

    I have an older Westie.

TRAINING: She loves the taste of these treats and I use them for our weekly “lessons”…they are so small that they make a wonderful positive reinforcement without adding too much to her diet.

ENTERTAINMENT: As an older dog, she tends to sleep much more and play a lot less. I was looking for something to entertain her but the treat dispensers were not holding her interest. Instead, I scatter a small handful on my rug and she really enjoys sniffing them out… she cannot see them because the detail of the oriental rug is so intricate so she has to rely on her nose – it’s fun to watch her get excited when she catches a whif of one! I’n not sure who’s being more entertained!

I’m sure some dogs find these treats irresistible. My dog kind of looked at the “treats” as regular dog food. She isn’t impressed and is in no hurry to chow down. They are good for filling a treat ball though if you don’t want it empty in minutes.

  4. Jo Ann Martinelli says:

My dog was not interested in these treats, and we even bought the toy that you are supposed to stuff them in. I am not sure why he did not like them, but I have a whole bag that he turns his nose up to each time I offer them.

  5. Blanca Lira says:

My Yorkie, didn’t really care for these treats. I think they smell and remind her of her dog food.

But on the good side the bag does have plenty small treats, good for training. not too big.
