I purchased the Med/Large version rated for strong chewers according to the product label. It lasted all of 4 hours with my 55lbs Hound. The rubber is much too soft for strong chewers- esp. in comparison to The Chuckle, made by the same company, or Kong branded rubber toys, which have held up just fine with my dog. Save your money and get a different product that will last.
The treat meter are plastic fingers you have to cut to get the treats to come out. The problem with that is given you cut it off, if you cut too much, you can’t undo it.
functions OK as treat dispenser, but my dog doesn’t really play with it much or even try to get treats out very often (even when it has his favorite treats in it).
I have two maltese that love this toy with and without treats in it. When I use the treats I cut the mini Zukes in half and put them in both sides of the toy. They come out much easier that way and I can use the toy without enlarging the hole by cutting the three rubber pieces on the inside.
Awesome toy. Our dogs love this and by inserting some smaller treats and a larger treat, it really keeps them busy trying to get the reward. Not thrilled about the noise it makes….really isnt necessary. Happy to have found a worthwhile dog toy.
