It is effective for 3 months and is a good complement to Advantage or PROGRAM when tick protection is also required. Recommended for use on dogs/puppies 3 months and older. DIRECTIONS : Place the collar around the dog’s neck, adjust for proper fit and buckle in place. Cut off and dispose of excess length.     I have been so frustrated with a tick problem here in south Florida..I have tried so many products

    but Preventic Tick collar is the only thing that worked,, I have found only two on my dog in three

    months of use..wonderful

    These collars had a slow start at my house until I got the tick problem under control with other pesticides first. Now, I consistently find dead ticks around my dog kennels and an occasional on the dogs. Nothing like previous.

    It’s true..with this collar you still might see a tick crawling

    around on top of your dog’s fur…but this product keeps it from attaching,

    and it kills ticks slowly.

    We live in FL with multiple dogs, and a large tick population. We have

    tried everything! This collar along with a topical product called

    “Kiltix” has done the job nicely to practically eliminate our

    major tick problem. From now on, I will not be without either product.

    After battling a tick infestation for 5 months, my vet recommended this collar teamed with frontline+.

    Ticks were gone within a week. As this easy to use collar lasts 3 months, it prevented any hatching larvae from maturing.

    We’ve been tick free for several months. Hard to do in South Florida.

    Just be careful if you have more than one dog and they play bite at the neck.

    You don’t want them to ingest its powerful ingredients.

    Seems to work. Haven’t found any ticks on our dog like we use to.
