The ProLux Style Combination Comb with round spine and tapered tines is a GREAT GROOMING VALUE and perfect for combing small to medium size dogs. The all metal comb is heat treated with an anti-static teflon coating to reduce friction. Includes plastic snap-shut sheaf for storage. You will love the easy coat penetration the teflon coating and tapered tines provide! The coarse-spaced end is for Double, Longhaired and Curly coats. The medium-spaced end is for Flat and Hard Coats.
All coats should be brushed thoroughly with the appropriate BRUSH before combing. The comb is used to “test” what you have brushed by inserting the comb into the coat parallel to the skin. This will allow you to find tangles, matting or clumps of undercoat.
Combing is the important second step of optimum skin and coat care.

This has been a super comb for my shih-poo pups. What the company needs to had in the main title is that it is anti-static also. They mentioned this fact in the description, but it’s important enough to label in the main title. The price is super compared to the other combs of this type. The fact that it is anti-static was almost overlooked by me when searching for this type comb.. Super price, and great product.
