Good House for the price. Easy Construction except for the plastic door. The hinges that hold the plastic do not stay on tight and come off easily. The house blocks the dogs from bad weather which is why I like it. I recommend putting a block of wood under the house because it is close to the ground and water can possibly get in.

Suncast products took a big turn for the worse with this product. They should have looked at some other dog houses first. The disclaimer that the product may become susceptible to damage in freezing temperatures is scary. This product is not a good value.

Overall a good doghouse, a little flimsier than I would like, but OK. Easy to put together with no tools, and easy to clean with the removable lid. My dog has chewed up the edges around the door opening, so I doused the edges with hot sauce to put and end to that.

Other review stated the floor needed to be reinforced. I agree. We put down a piece of plywood to mount it on. Other than that. excellent

I bought this because I figured for the cost it should have been a good house and was more appealing to the eye than many of the other plastic houses. I have to agree that this house is not what it is advertised to be. The floor is not only weak and thin but actually 2 pieces that snap together on a hinge/slide seam that leave a gaps where the tabs are and are far from producing a seam that has any potential for keeping moisture out. The floor is so thin and low(1/4″) even the slightest puddle would start to seep in. The whole house is of thin plastic and would provide moisture protection from rain or snow(unless it floods)but little to no potential for heat build up in cold weather. We had no moving problems once assembled as previously mentioned though. You just have to make sure that all the tabs are fully seated. This might be ok in a garage or something, but not really for outdoors due to the floor situation and thin plastic. I had to send this one back – I send very few things back – ever.
