    My dog Misty just loves these Waggin Train Chicken Jerky Tenders. They are so lean and are in tenders not broken dry pieces. Misty tries to lead me into my office to give her a Tender before she even goes outside for her morning job, then at lunch time she tries for another one. When it comes to these Jerky Tenders, she is very persistent. Thanks Waggin Train for this healthy treat. Terrie B

    Dogs LOVE these treats, but they have caused serious diarrhea in my German Shepherd, a bull dog mix and a Newfoundland.

    If you love your dog, avoid giving them these toxic treats. I don’t think the manufacturing process in China has any safety or quality controls in place and chicken products are notorious for containing bacteria.

    Nothing has changed in my dogs environment (or foods) except for the introduction of Waggin Train Jerky Tenders in the last few weeks. They all came down with diarrhea at the same time, and in one of my dogs, she has serious blood deposits in her droppings.

    I am a loyal Amazon customer but I purchased these at Sam’s Club in Abilene, Texas.

    (UPDATE, 3-5-2010)

    I just came back from my vet and left them checks for nearly $600 in treating my dogs, one requiring an IV to replenish her fluids. These “treats” are laced with toxins. One of my dogs nearly bleed to death with the diarrhea. I’ll be giving them meds for the next 10 days. I’m about 100% certain this bag contained salmonela (from the chicken parts) and keep in mind, this toxin road over from China on a slow boat, having lot’s of time in a humid environment to grow the bacteria.

    My dogs love this treat and if you buy this product in the regular store it is pretty expensive. This product delivered everything-good quality, good price and my dogs are happy.

    I started using this product because a friend’s vet recommended them as a snack since they are virtually all protein. They always seem fresh and they smell great (almost good enough for me to eat!!!) My rat terrier will snack on nothing but these strips and Waggin Train’s chicken drumsticks—not even rawhide. These are the favorite snack of my other dog as well—shepard/beagle mix. This is a high quality product.

    After about 5 months of feeding my dog these treats…he has become lethargic, not eating his regular food (but will continue to eat the fillets), and has diarrhea.

    If you feed these to your pet…you are essentially killing him.

    Be a good pet owner and write to the companies who sell this poison…ask them to take it off the shelves. These are made in China.

    Your dog is counting on YOU to keep it safe and in good health. I thought I was giving him something he really loved…however…I hope the damage can be undone.
